Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu revolves around the struggling life of a youngster named Muthuveeran or Muthu played by Silambarasan, who comes to Mumbai from rural Tamil Nadu. It shows his journey to earn living for his family and how he gets involved with the underworld, thus becoming a gangster.
