Weeks after Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise, his father KK Singh has opened up about his ‘only son’ and addressed some of the reports that have been doing the rounds.
In a television interview, the grieving father said that Sushant was born after four girls and that they prayed a lot for him. He went on to add that his son used to talk to him about what he was going through, but he didn’t speak much towards the end.
Talking about their equation with Sushant’s ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande, Singh said that she not only visited the family in Mumbai but also paid them a visit in Patna. SSR and Ankita, who worked on the hit TV series ‘Pavitra Rishta’, were in a long-term relationship before they decided to part ways. According to reports, Singh claimed that Ankita was the only girl in his son’s life that he knew of.
Addressing the reports about marriage being on the card, he said that they had indeed spoken about it. However, Sushant wasn’t too keen on tying the knot amidst the coronavirus pandemic but planned a February-March 2021 wedding.
Without revealing the name of the girl, Singh said that his only advise to his son was that he should marry someone of his choice as he would have to spend the rest of his life with her.
According to reprots, Rhea Chakraborty revealed in her statement that she and SSR were getting ready to settle down by the end of 2020.
