Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was recently questioned by the Mumbai Police in regards to Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. The actor left for his heavenly abode on June 14. And after that, people related to the late actor have been recording their statements at the Bandra Police Station. Like many others, SLB recorded his statement and apparently revealed that he was planning to cast Sushant in four of his films. However, things did not materialise for them as planned.

Days after SLB recorded his statement, Abhishek Trimukhe, DCP (Zone IX), Mumbai Police, has confirmed this development. In an interview with a news agency, the DCP also mentioned why SLB and Sushant couldn't work on those four films.

"Sanjay Leela Bhansali was planning to take Sushant in four of his films. But due to unavailability of dates, the films had other actors," he revealed to ANI. He further mentioned that the police have taken into custody CCTV recordings of the building where Sushant resided in Bandra.

However, he stated that no CCTV's were found in the actor's house and forensic reports are awaited. "Mumbai Police is investigating into all important details about this case. Mumbai Police is awaiting a response from nodal of Twitter, about the alleged tweets circulated on social media from SSR handle," the DCP added.

Talking about Sushant, the actor had slipped into depression and was suffering from it for the last six months. He decided to end his life on June 14 and was found dead at his Bandra residence. The actor left no suicide note behind and the reason why he took such a drastic step is not known to anyone.

On the work front, he will be last seen in Mukesh Chhabra's Dil Bechara with Sanjana Sanghi. The film is all set for an OTT release on July 24.

Breathe - Into the Shadows Review: Here is our review of Abhishek Bachchan, Amit Sadh starrer Breathe

Breathe season 1 was one of the first web series to come out of India and it was equal parts engaging and thrilling with outstanding performances from both R Madhavan and Amit Sadh. I was eagerly looking forward to the second season of the show, especially after it was announced that Abhishek Bachchan will be joining the show with Amit Sadh returning as no-nonsense cop Kabir Sawant.

After watching the first four episodes of the second season, I can say for a fact that Breathe season 2 titled Breathe - Into the Shadows is worth your time and a worthy successor to the previous season. The show is about a couple Dr Avinash and Chef Abha (Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen), whose only child - a 6-year-old daughter is kidnapped. The kidnapper contacts them after nine long months and gives them the task of murdering, so far, two people with a special condition. The cause of their deaths should be anger and lust. Unwittingly, the couple gives into the kidnapper's demand and go on a path that is bound to end in destruction. Moreover, Inspector Kabir Sawant (Amit Sadh) is closing in on them.

What I really liked about the season one was that the characters were well fleshed out. Each of them had their own demons. Breathe 2 is no different. There are Avi and Abha, who are willing to go to any lengths to save their only daughter, there is Kabir, who has to deal with the ghosts of his past once again. There is also another character (Saiyami Kher) who barely had any screentime in the first four episodes but we know the reason for the stuff that she is doing.

The fact that there is a plausible back story to all these characters makes you feel invested in them even if you don't spend much time with them. Director Mayank Sharma hasn't wasted much time and comes straight to the point in the first few minutes of episode one itself. However, the show is more of a slow burner than a roller coaster ride as one would expect from these kinds of thrillers.

The show keeps you hooked from its first episode itself. However, there are quite a few loopholes in the narrative. The plot is not as smart or edge-of-the-seat as Abhishek Bachchan claimed in pre-release interviews. Going by the first four episodes, the pace of the series should've been a bit faster.

The background score works, the cinematography is good and I am glad the makers have not opted for the cliched Delhi shots. The is editing is also fine.

Coming to the performances, Abhishek Bachchan is phenomenal. He shows a range of emotions and nails it at the beginning itself. His outburst will hit you right in the feels.

The ever-dependable Amit Sadh displays new dimensions to his character. The character here is more subdued than it was in the previous season and his look of a gentle giant goes well with his characterisation.

Nithya Menen seemed a bit awkward initially but delivers a good performance in her second venture in the Hindi film industry. Hrishikesh Joshi is a riot.

Overall, Breathe - Into the Shadows' first four episodes promise to be a slow-burning ride that will satiate the thrill-seeker in you.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has completed two decades in the film industry, has never shied away from answering questions that others might run away from. Be it rumours of fights with her co-stars or addressing link-up reports, the actress doesn't mince words when posed with tough questions concerning gossip mills of the film industry.

But while Kareena has worked with many leading actors, it was her screen presence with Hrithik Roshan that often became the talk of the town. In fact, Kareena was also set to make her acting debut opposite Hrithik in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai but things didn't work out as planned. The two actors have worked together in many films including Yaadein, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Mujhse Dosti Karoge

While the duo's chemistry continues to be loved, years ago, there were rumours that the two were dating. Addressing the alleged link-up, Kareena, in an old interview, had said that she feared the affair rumours might impact the actor's marriage with Sussanne Khan. The couple, however, is now separated.

Kareena was quoted saying, "I was more bothered that his marriage would be affected. For me, it was a professional hazard. First it was Hrithik. Tomorrow it could be someone else. As long as I know the truth, I'm fine."

Further, the actress also revealed why the rumours irked her so much and said that she was shocked to see the "insinuation that I was willing to give up my career to run after him."

Cut to today, Kareena is happily married to Saif Ali Khan. The power couple of Bollywood tied the knot in 2012. The duo is now parents to the internet's favourite star kid, Taimur Ali Khan. As for Hrithik, the actor continues to co-parent his sons Hridhaan and Hrehaan with ex-wife, Sussanne Khan.

Gangster Vikas Dubey made headlines nationally after he killed eight policemen while they were headed for a raid at his house. Post the killings, the gangster fled the scene and for almost a week, the cops were searching for him. He was finally arrested yesterday from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh and was handed over to the UP police. Earlier today, he was being brought back to Kanpur via road and it has been alleged that the car overturned after skidding due to heavy rains that injured a few policemen. Taking advantage of the situation, the gangster allegedly tried to escape by snatching a rifle from one of the cops and was killed in retaliation after he fired shots at police.

As soon as the news of his encounter broke, Twitter erupted with many having a field day. Interestingly, Rohit Shetty started trending on the social media platform. Many are saying that the encounter is straight out of a Rohit Shetty film with a car overturning.

One user wrote, "A night before Physicist Rohit Shetty explaining how to create a scene to the overturned convoy. Moreover, Justice has been done to martyrs." Another tweeted, "Rohit Shetty coming up with Singham 4. Akshay or Ajay sir who gonna lead the role. Only time could let us all know." A netizen simply tweeted, "Singham 3 Directed by Rohit Shetty".

Check out some of the tweets below:

On the front, Rohit Shetty is awaiting the release of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi. The movie is a part of Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe or Singham Universe, and is a sequel to Ajay Devgn starrer Singham, Singham Returns and Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba.

Sooryavanshi was supposed to release on March 20 but had to be postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic that led to the global shutdown.
